about

I'm a Lord of the Rings Nerd!
This is a song about a character from the books wife.
Tom Bombadill!

lyrics

The river woman's daughter
Lives by the water.
The woods are her homeland
The oceans her Father.

We spent our days growing
the future not knowing
Spell bound by beauty
Her every move was glowing.

We saw the moon rising
the forest now sighing
the thunder and lightning
brought sorrow and dying.

I've been coming to this river for 31 days in search of you
My friends tell me to leave it alone but i still have hope.
I still have hope of your return cuz its on that day
It's on that day that my heart will surely melt.
It's on that day that my heart will melt!
So won't you bring me peace to these dark forest leaves

The river woman's daughter
Live by the water.
The woods are her homeland
The oceans her Father.
